Business Overview

Micro-Mechanics designs, manufactures and markets consumable parts and precision tools used to assemble and test semiconductors. From a small workshop and one employee in 1983, the Company has grown to include more than 500 people and six manufacturing facilities in SIngapore, Malaysia, China, the Philippines, Thailand and the United States. Combined with its direct sales presence in Taiwan, Indonesia, Korea and Europe, the Group aims to serve its global base of customers in the fast-moving semiconductor industry with excellent service and prompt access to a broad range of process-critical, consumable tools used to manufacture semiconductor chips.

The Group is also working to build a business that goes beyond the semiconductor industry. Based on its expertise in precision manufacturing, Micro-Mechanics operates a Custom Machining and Assembly Division that is exploring opportunities in other high-tech industries such as aircraft, medical and instrumentation.

Micro-Mechanics became a public corporation and listed on the SGX-Sesdaq in Singapore in June 2003. On 22 July 2008, the listing and quotation of its shares was upgraded to the SGX Mainboard.
